Dietary Supplement. CLA-Conjugated Linolenic Acid. CLA (Conjugated Linolenic Acid) dietary supplement is a mixture of positional and geometric isomers of linoleic acid with conjugated double bonds. A variety of foods including cheese, turkey, and cooked ground beef contain CLA naturally. The c-9, t-11, and t-10, c-12 CLA isomers (contained in this dietary supplement) are believed to be the active forms incorporated into the phospholipids fraction of tissues of animals and humans fed a mixture of CLA isomers.
